In short...
This extension correlates publicly available data for a given domain and scores the website, so you have fighting chance to spot a scammer or phishing site.
If one or more of these data points trigger a warning, the extension will mark the banner at the top of the page accordingly, and populate the drop-down with the relevant concerns - possibly denying access to the page.
We score the site (domain) based on these (and more) data points:
- Encrypted site access (SSL)
- Available name of the domain owner
- Available country of origin
- Available business information
